Q: Why the false names?
A: We deliberated over this, because we're in no way ashamed of who we are. Many of our friends are aware of our lifestyle choices (and several participate!) but it's still not the kind of conversation you want to have with your Mum, if you can avoid it. Secondly, the people we meet with sometimes have need for discretion, and the use of pseudonyms allows us to bare all without compromising them.
